| | | Pink + white flower Hi, I photographed this rather nice pink + white flower at the weekend in St James Gardens, the Anglican Cathedral Grounds in Liverpool. does anyone know what it is?

| | | Re: Pink + white flower Yup, that's an Aquilegia (just looked it up and I did spell that right - yay!), common name is columbine.
It's quite widely cultivated as a perennial garden flower (I have a few myself) but is relatively short-lived.

| | | Re: Pink + white flower Aquilegia vulgaris is an uncommon native of woods in some parts of the country and it can be very difficult to tell if a colony is truely wild or spread from a garden.
