| | | Two un-identifieds... Two plants I came across today and can't identify.
The first is a garden-escaped sedum, the second could be a Polygonaceae of some sort, and beyond that I'm scuppered...... IDs and suggestions please! |

Looks "sedum-ish" I agree - is it a garden escapee ??

The first is definately a Sedum - though not one that I have ever seen. I think it is probably Lesser Mexican-stonecrop ( Sedum confusum) which occurs as a garden escape in mild areas (eg. Cornwall & Guernsey).
The second I am also not sure on, but something in the back of my mind is saying Dittander ( Lepidium latifolium). |

| The only Co.Cork location for Dittander is in that area and I must have wandered onto the right beach! |

| Just nippped out into the garden to check elecampagne leaves.....no, they are furry and I would have recognized them - this plant was hairless and one I've never seen before.
Checked books, web etc and Dittander is looking good....... | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
