The magic of Willow

Last month I was doing a bit of removing of Willows and replanting them, and whilst doing this I had to trim one of them down to get it in my car. I took part of the piece I cut off, and as an experiment just took a bare chunk of the Branch around 6 inch long and shoved it in some soil in a pot, just to see what would happen one month later its like this

We cut a branch off a cherry tree. So I used some twigs for plant supports and they started to grow.

This is my willow tree that started off as a piece of garden furniture that the previous owners left here



It has been pollarded twice in the last seven years and needs doing again.
