I'm sure this is remarkably common, but I don't know what it is.
It was growing on the edge of a wood on a chalky hill in Buckinghamshire. |

Looks to me like Wild Garlic (Allium ursinum) pre-flowering. |

It is often known as Ramsons - it's not a particularly common plant in Buckinghamshire |

Thank you for all your replies. I thought it might possibly be Wild Garlic - I'll have to look out for it when it's in flower. |
