| | | Can you help? Flower ID requested I have spotted this particular flower several times now, but I can't seem to find it in any of my books. Does anybody know it's name or it's bontanical family?

I had upload problems too, the other day. My file size was too big...it exceeded the file size limit on some of my photos, so I tried to reduce it and it eventually worked.

| | | Re: Can you help? Flower ID requested Not a native wild flower, but a member of the daisy family- Asteraceae. Looks like one of the South African species which are often cultivated. Looking at the buds/leaves, it could be one of the Osteospermum cultivars. |

Barbara | Absolutely. To confirm check the inflorescence size,that of Aster species is about 1/4 the diameter of Osteospermum.
