Iv'e seen White Dead-nettle in flower since the end of March & I'm sure others have seen it before that. |

| | | Re: What species of nettle is this I dont normaly pay to much attention to flowering periods anyway.. especialy with increasingly mild winters and springs. What is odd though is my hebane has yet germinate, i have yet to see any opium poppies, the bramble seem's to only be comming into leaf now - let alone flowering, and the apple tree at the bottom of our garden only this week has started to flower. Oh and there is still no sign of any woody nightshade
Compared to recent years it would seem like spring has yet to properly spring - though some plants have skipped spring again and gone straight to summer.
