Please could you identify this for me - I think it's Wild Garlic.
I found it yesterday growing beside a footpath next to the river Thames, near Goring, Oxfordshire.   |

It's hedge garlic - sometimes called garlic mustard. Tastes and smells like garlic but a different family. |

Doh! Sorry, I meant Garlic Mustard, not Wild Mustard.
I looked it up in my books and thought it was Garlic Mustard (and I saw that it was also known as Jack By The Hedge). Between looking it up, uploading the photos, and posting the thread, I'd managed to forget the name!
Still, I'm 50, I'm just about entitled to have a 'senior moment' now and then!

Defo Garlic mustard -wild garlic is from the allium family, the foliage is broad bright green leaves which flop over at their broadest point, may make id easier for you in the future. Btw, its the right time of year for wild garlic. | | |
