| | | Re: Un-identified Horse-tail The plants were on damp, often wet ground near the coast. Height-wise I'm not sure now......the tallest were maybe about a foot tall, but thats a bit uncertain - I still keep forgetting to measure plants or get scale in the photos |

| | | Re: Un-identified Horse-tail I think it is probably Field Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) - the commonest species. Compare with the pictures at this link.
