Five flowers for ID please

I seem to have forgotten the little I learnt about wildflowers last year! Please can you help me out with IDs for these five flowers. All were taken yesterday, in the chalky Chiltern Hills.

1. A Violet obviously, but which one?

2. No idea, though I've a feeling I should know it.

3. Yellow Archangel?

4. Common Field Speedwell?

5. A garden escapee? Very pretty anyway.

I think no' 2 is a spurge possibly Sun Spurge
no' 5 looks like Honesty
no' 3 your right it is Yellow Archangel
no's 1 & 4 can't be anymore specific than you i'm affraid

I think that No. 2 is more likely to Mrs Robb's Bonnet Euphorbia amygdaloides robbiae than Portland Spurge. The distribution of the latter is more or less entirely coastal on the BSBI Atlas pages.

I see both the native Wood Spurge, and plants which are obviously more robust and darker in colour in chalk woodlands not very far from the Chilterns. I commented on a similar picture in the Gallery recently.

Thanks - I should have said that I've seen this plant twice now, and each time it was on a steep wooded slope in the Chilterns.

The spurge is Wood Spurge (Euphorbia amygdaloides ssp. amygdaloides) a frequent plant in the Chilterns.

The Yellow Archangel is the silver variegated form (Lamiastrum galeobdolon ssp. argentatum) a garden escape

Thanks Tiggrx - I had wondered about the silver on the leaves. This specimen was in a wood across the road from some houses, but I'd just passed some that was just outside a garden fence.

Thanks to everybody else, too, for your comments. I should probably have recognised Honesty as it seems to occur fairly regularly on this forum!
