| | | Who has a problem with my catmint? I planted a young catmint plant in a pot recently and within a couple of days it had been dug up and all the foliage gone just leaving a stump. I replanted the stump only for the same thing to happen the next night, and the next....
Thinking it must be a cat I put repellant down but the same result. I have given up now as I think the plant has had it. My question is, what would do this and why? None of the other plants have been touched. We have had a fox visiting recently but what is it about catmint that makes something want to continually dig it up?
Any ideas? |

| | | Re: Who has a problem with my catmint? I have heard over the years how ineffective commercial cat repellents can be?!?
Also have heard that Elephant dung is the best way to ward cats away. Have you a Zoo or Safari Park near by where you could obtain some? Hope you overcome your problem.

Is it called catmint because cats love it or because they hate it?! |

| | | Re: Who has a problem with my catmint? They lurve it and other mints! My old cat used to get high quite regularly. He was a bit grumpy when coming down though.
Cheers,
