What Willow?
Can anyone throw some light on what species of willow this is? i dug it up this morning as a self set to move to another location

No idea what it is from the point of view of its characteristics, but in Surrey where I live most self seeded willows in non-boggy locations tend to be Goat Willow (Salix caprea). Had several in my garden and I'm on top of a chalk ridge.

I don't think they are goat willow...I have an idea they are Crack willow
