I think it is either common field or grey field speedwell, but I can't tell. I found them growing on a roadside bank on calcerous soil in clusters. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

| | | Re: unknown flower 2 - with picture this time This is Veronica hederifolia ssp lucorum which has pale anthers as opposed to Veronica hederifolia ssp hederifolia which has blue ones.
Both are annuals which change rapidly from little seedlings to flowering plants in early March and by late May there is no sign they were ever there. Look out for the one with blue anthers it is quite easy to spot with the naked eye. |
