| | | Re: where best to buy seeds locally I know this is going to look a really silly question but are you looking purely for wild flower seeds then?
Offhand Chilterns offers a really good range of British wild flower seeds - online catalogue - family run business based in Cumbria. |

| | | Re: where best to buy seeds locally If you're thinking about getting seeds from the wild - make a note of where the ones you want are now and over the summer..while they are in flower - and then go back when the seeds are ripe |

As for buying wildflower seed from anywhere which isn't specialised you have to ask your self whether the seed is UK sourced for one. Also what temperature are they being kept at and how long have the seeds have kept on the shelf. All important if you want to benefit wildlife and gain a good crop!

| | | Re: where best to buy seeds locally I've used Emorsgate (link below) for the last 2 years and have found them reliable and helpful. You can order a catalogue with an extensive range and all seeds appear to be sourced in this country:- Emorsgate Wild Seeds - wild flower and wild grass seed suppliers | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
