unknown plant
Anyone know what this plant is?

Found yesterday growing in a large group in a very wet field - calcareous improved grassland pasture.

When brushed against the flower head emits a cloud of pollen.

It's probably a horsetail, Equisetales, starting in to growth.

Yes it is horsetail a nice plant makes a good photo at that stage if there is a good stand regards Jimmer

Yes its the Field Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) the commonest of them forms in spreading patches in dry grassy areas and on some wasteland,nice pics nice and clear with a lot of detail well done
