| | | Re: spring flowers There are two clumps of daffodils near Bewbush (nr. Crawley) which started flowering in December. The primroses in my garden have virtually flowered all year round. The hellebores, crocus and christmas box are flowering in my garden as well. The buds are getting fatter on the sallow too and are showing little peeks of silvery fur inside. A bumblebee was bashing against the window yesterday and the birds are becoming more vocal.
If this warm weather keeps up spring will be here before we know it. |

| | Re: spring flowers We also have daisies flowering in our lawn, celandine, primroses, snowdrops, hellebores, three cornered garlic, heliatrope and buds on the honeysuckle.
On my way home today there was a pink tinge to a large area of blackthorn in the distance and a general greening of our driveway. Spring is happening now we just have to remember to take the time to stop and look. Before we know it the leaves will be out. We love the spring as we live in a north facing property surrounded by sycamores, which are covered by a blanket tree preservation order. Spring is when we can enjoy the sun and light before we are plunged into the green room. |

| | | Re: spring flowers That's what lots of people say! But where we live on the rugged north cornish coast there are few trees, so these are better than nothing, great for aphids to feed the ever hungry great tits and perfect for the squirrels to chew. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
