Hi Cloudberry.

Looks like a Hawkweed Hieracium sp. I'm not familiar enough with them to say which one.

A hawkweed, Hieracium sp, , as Deerstalker says, which is a tricky group of apomictic microspecies needing a real specialist. Where was this photo taken as this may help in its ID.

it was nuttall park ramsbottom lancashire the river irwell is nearby
