| | | Purple-stemmed figwort? Is this just a purple-stemmed version of Common Figwort, Scropularia nodosa? |

What about Water Figwort?

| | | Re: Purple-stemmed figwort? Was the stem winged? Green Figwort - S.umbrosa has quite broad wings.
Excellent pictures of the Water Figwort - S. auriculata, showing the winged stems.

| | | Re: Purple-stemmed figwort? Your plant is Common Figwort (Scrophularia nodosa) - it frequently has a purplish coloration. |
