Not sure of this not one im familiar with, someone suggested it was a liverwort, im not convinced as it looks nothing like any liverwort ive seen on my travels, what do you think?    |

It's a lichen. Try Peltigera didactyla.

I thought it was a lichen when i first saw it it thought it was rock tripe, but then looking at the inlarged image of the guy holding it in his hands i knew it wasnt. Im still not so sure Adam due to the size of it  |

Not an easy one this ive looked every ware for a good description, im sure its not native, it looks like alichen, although im sure ive seen it in a garden some where |

It is one of the Dog-lichens (Peltigera) they are not uncommon on lawns, sand-dunes etc. |
