| | Which Buttercup and Three IDs please... I went on that lovely walk again and spotted even more flowers (some of which are too dreadful to even post on here). Please could anyone identify the three that have no names and is it possible to determine which variety of Buttercup I have taken. If it helps, the location was the Wigan area (Lancashire) and all these were found within woodland near a stream.
Thanks,

| | | Re: Which Buttercup and Three IDs please... Hmmm... one of the flowers I posted on a previous post was identified as Pink Purslane but whilst double-checking via Google and the likes, I'm not entirely convinced that it is. Has this been a correct identification?
Here's the pic...

| | | Re: Which Buttercup and Three IDs please... Ranunculus repens (from what I can see of leaf), Alopecurus pratensis, Brassica rapa need to see the full plant e.g. leaves and where leaf joins stem for the other one but it looks a bit like one of the polygonum lot.
It deffo looks like pink purslane too, see the noth in the petals and the way the leaf is joined to the stem? I'll see if I can get a pic of a colony of some I know near me. Another garden escape unfortunately | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
