I took this photo in July 2006 in a rough patch of ground within the Belfast Harbour Estate. I've looked at books and think it might be a Harebell. Can someone provide an ID?

Yes thats a harebell, im pretty useless with plants but get alot of these on a small heath near my house. |

That looks pretty much like one to me but there are a few campanula cultivers which are similar - will try and look them up for you tomorrow. If it was in the wild then yes harebell. |

Yes John it's a Harebell, one of my favourite native plants, confusingly often known as "bluebells" in parts of Scotland! |

Thanks everyone for this ID and yes it was growing in the wild on a large area of rough ground. It's nice to get an ID right every once in a while.

Hi Dan. I think you're right. I was lying on the ground with the camera tilted when I took this shot. This could account for me editing it in this way.
