| | | Stumped! Hi all, new here and thankfully managed to find this site via Google.
Yesterday I took a trip to Formby Point (kind of Lancashire but comes under Merseyside) and stumbled upon a wildflower that I'd never seen before.
It was growing amongst pine woodland with very sandy soil (Formby Point is right on the coast). It was growing in adundance here and I would say that it definitely liked the shade and the whole woodland floor was covered in it.
As yet I haven't managed to upload my photo but have found another (copyright remains with this person) for you to take a look at.
I am a very keen photographer and have suddenly taken a great interest in wildflowers and am hoping that the ones I have added to my website of recent have been correct identifications! www.igimages.co.uk
Many thanks in advance,

PS Welcome to WAB. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

| | Re: Stumped! Thanks guys! Much appreciated!
What's bizarre is that I inadvertantly added a link to this website last week sometime and hadn't actually realised it had a forum!
I can now add the photo I took to my website without having to worry about the Natural History mafia giving me a hard time!
Best regards,

| | | Re: Stumped! Jonny - since you like trying to solve wildflower puzzles please take a look at http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/fo...id-please.html and see if you can identify this one. So far no-one has come up with an answer. Open to all of course. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
