| | | More galls Whilst waiting for my lift to work this morning I noticed some odd growths on an Ash tree. I believe them to be caused by Eriophyes fraxinivorus, the Ash-flower Gall-mite - they were obviously affecting the flowers. A quick snap is attached of the specimen I took to identify. I'll try and get some better, in situ, pictures at the weekend. I've not seen this gall before, and I'll examine the trees in my garden for signs of it.

| | | Managed to get round to photographing the galls in situ this morning. They've developed since last week, and are much browner.
Didn't find any in my garden (though the Ash trees are a lot taller than this roadside one, and the galls may be out of sight in the canopy!)
