Some more flowers that I'm unsure of and would be glad of id help......

1. Alsike Clover?




2. Good-king-henry? I remember planting some in the veg patch years ago....





3. Lesser Water-parsnip? Growing in damp, stream-side ground





4. One of the hybrid mints.....bushy or whorled?





5. Cow Parsley doing an out-of-season flowering? It seems to have oddly split centres to the flowers....or is that normal and I've never noticed before?

1. Looks like White Clover (Trifolium repens) - Alsike Clover is usually a more upright plant with pinkish flowers

2. I think you're right, but it doesn't quite look typical

3. Again you are probably right, but something doesn't look quite right about it

4. I would have said Corn Mint (Mentha arvensis) for this one.

5. Yes, Cow Parsley often flowers at odd time. The split stigma is normal.

Thanks Tiggrx - thats the trouble, they didn't look quite right!

1. it was the leaves that got me wondering.....

2. I'll keep watching this one and see if theres more of a clue when the flowers do their thing

3. Could it otherwise be a slightly odd Wild Angelica ....?

Oh I wish I could find typical plants!
