Some more plants for id help please!

These were all photographed near the sea a couple of weeks ago.....

1. Leaves and stems are cinquefoil-like, flower is like tormentil......hybrid?

2. Cats-ear?

3. Sharp Rush, J.acutus ? (recorded at this location)

4. Some sort of orache? I wondered if Babingtons Orache was a possibility, but these do my head in!

Re: Some more plants for id help please!

1 Looks like Trailing Cinquefoil, Potentilla anglica.
2 Possibly Cat's Ear but can't really see all the features- were there scale like bracts on the flowerin stalk? Also the leaf hairs are simple which separates from the hawkbits (apart from Autumn Hawkbit which also has simple hairs, but lacks the stem bracts.
3 Looks like Sharp Rush
4 Leaves loook wrong for Babington's Orache which I normally see right down on the beach. Not sure what this is.

Re: Some more plants for id help please!

Thanks aeshna5

1. aah, I always thought the one below was Trailing Tormentil.....my wrong id or are they two different-habitat versions of same plant?
The plant below is on acidic heath, the one in the post above was on calcareous rock...

2. Yes, scale-like bracts on flower-stalk

4. Babingtons Orache was a bit of a wild guess! It was growing next to a clump of Sea Beet, a bit above high-water mark, but looked very different.....

Re: Some more plants for id help please!

Thanks to you both,
Ah well, and there was me hoping I'd spotted something I hadn't come across before. Nice big clump of it too!
