Anyone have any idea what Orchid this is?

Hi Dave - this is a 'from the books' suggestion as its not a plant Ive seen, but it could be either a Marsh Helleborine (epipactis palustris) or Broad-leaved Hellorbine (E.helleborine)
At least thats a bit of a clue for you to check out......

Hi - this could be a Stream Orchid (Giant Helliborine) at a guess. As per first idea above. However, I understand it is not thought to grow wild in Britain. When and approx. where taken?

See if anyone else has any ideas.

Broad-leaved or Common Helleborine (Epipactis helleborine).

The photo was taken 12 August 2007, and the plant, as you can see, was a little past its best. The photo was taken in woodland, but only 10 yards in from a Field.
