| | | Mudwort? Theres a location for Mudwort (Limosella aquatica) near me, but as the water-levels have been higher than usual this summer I've not had much luck looking for it.
I did get one chance, and wondered if this is it though the leaves seem more pointed than in illustrations I've seen....? |

Although I'm not sure about the pointiness of the leaf, my recollection was that the leaf was a bit fleshier than this picture appears to be. Also, how big was the plant? It's not clear to me.
Not much help really, but hopefully others will be more able to answer.

Also, how big was the plant?
| ....that got me thinking and checking measurements, and though I can't be sure what size the plant in the photo is I'm pretty sure that the leaves were longer than the 5-15mm that Rose gives for Mudwort.......
Tomorrow could be wellies on and back to the Gearagh to search again!
(Any suggestions on what this could be instead?) |
