Best book: anything by Geoff Hamilton

Best tool: Felco secateurs

Got a huge hunch that secateurs will be the luxury choice amongst most Vgood Gardeners!

I drool at those Felcos everytime I go to the garden centre, but I have real trouble convincing the missus of their beauty and abundant qualities!

3) Marsh Gentian - Gentiana pneumonanthe

5) Oblong-leaved Sundew - Drosera intermedia
6) Autumn Lady's Tresses - Spirathes spiralis
7) Sainfoin - Onobrychis viciifolia

I simply love the look of it and it was one of the first flowers I identified when I started getting interested in Botany.

2 Caladenia roei (Clown Orchid)
3 Lechenaultia formosa (Red Lechenaultia)
4 Schoenia cassiniana (Rose everlasting)
5 Waitzia acuminata (no English name)
6 Banksia menzesei (Firewood Banksia)
7 Calothamnus quadrifidus (Common Net Bush)
8 Hemiphora elderi (Red Velvet)

Too many red flowers I know but in the wild they look so good.
