Not a scabious, though I can see a similarity. It is a garden escape- Garden Candytuft, Iberis umbellata- remember growing that for school when I was about 6! |

Thanks for the responses. Isn't it funny that even non experts such as myself can suspect a garden escape without knowing, precisely.why. I suppose it may be that they somehow don't fit into the environment where found. | | |
