| | | Re: Melilot.... The flower dimensions (wings much shorter than keel) would suggest Furrowed Melilot (Melilotus sulcatus) a Mediterranean species which occasionally occurs in the UK, usually from bird-seed.
However, I am not at all familiar with this species and would not like to be definite about the ID. |

Do you know where I might be able to get a definite id as I'm very intrigued as to how a Mediterranean bird-seed plant could show up in a fairly remote West Cork field?
