Praire Mallow?

I came across this plant growing in some waste ground, and wondered if it is Sidalcea malvaeflora - Praire Mallow, escaped from someones garden?

This one is from my garden - would it be Cut-leaved Mallow (M.alcea) as it doesn't look like the photos of Musk Mallow that have been posted recently, and the label is long gone...?

The first does look like a Sidalcea but I'm not sure which species.

The second you will need to look at the flower stalks and calyx with a lens. If you see stellate hairs (i.e. hairs that are branched in a starry pattern) then it is Malva alcea. If the hairs are unbranched it is Malva moschata.

Thanks Tiggrx - I haven't got a lens so will try and get a sharp enough photo to pull up big on the computer screen and check hairs....A lens is a must-have on my Christmas list!
