Yes, they are both Centuary, but without a picture of the basal leaf rosettes (or absence of) can't be sure which.....
Whereabouts were the photos taken? |

Did you notice whether there was a rosette of leaves at the base? |

I'm just going from the book here ....
(Cassell's 'Wildflowers of Britain and Europe' by Blamey and Grey-Wilson)
and Lesser Centuary (C.pulchellum) can sometimes have white flowers but it is less common, found mainly in central and southern England, and does not have the rosette of leaves at the stalk base that Common Centuary (Centaurium erythraea) has. | | |
