Unkown Red Plant
This was seen growing at the edge of a field in which were growing plants for wild bird seed. It was the only one that I could see in the field. Any ideas as to what it is please?

Is this some sort of amaranth, Amaranthus? Looks a bit more like a cauliflower but I recall that some 'new', exotic species have been used for bird seed ....

Possibly Quinoa, Chenopodium quinoa, which is grown as a game/wild bird seed crop.

reminds me a bit of Strawberry-blite (Chenopodium capitatum) - though I have never seen it with such red leaves.
