ID please - Is this Water Mint?

I saw this on a walk just north of Milton Keynes yesterday. My best guess is that it is Water Mint Mentha aquatica but I'm open to pursuasion! Any thoughts, please?

Yes it is mate....next time you see it rub the leaf...smells gorgeous

Yes it's one I would recognise. I saw some today and I must remember to sample its smell.

I've just snaffled some from my local nature reserve pond (with permission of course) to put into my wildlife pond and it smells divine!!........

Yes i have some growing for my pending wildlife pond...but be careful cassie...plant it ( like all mints) in the ground in a large pot or bucket or pond basket as it will take over.

Ah now see, I didn't know that - DOH Only got 4 spigs of it atm, so will 'confine' them in something appropriate - thanks for the 'heads-up'!
