| | | Hanging baskets Hi
Is it too late to put up a hanging basket?
If so i was thinking i could put maybe some ivy or other plants(suggestions welcome) as some bird cover as i have put a feeder near a hedge but maybe need a little more cover,so plants that grow fast would be great.
thanks

| | | Re: Hanging baskets You could put up a hanging basket up at any time of the year. In summer most people have tender plants in them which won't survive a hard frost- yes autumn is coming (if it's not here already!).
The other thing about baskets is that they dry out quickly in wind/sun. You can purchase gels that help hold more water, but best to use fairly drought resistant plants. Ivy (one of small cultivars) will be ok in baskets + often used in winter displays with such plants as pansies, cyclamen, etc. |
