Re: Sunflower

From a Garden site .........

For continuity of blooms for floral arrangements, sow a succession of sunflowers every fortnight for six weeks in the early part of the growing season. In a hot summer, each cycle from sowing to blooming will take about 60 days.

Re: Sunflower

That site in Kent states that they can grow up to 12 inches a day. How long has yours been planted? If yours has only been growing for 3 days, then you're on to a winner!

Strange I think it should have flowered by now. I have a few smaller varieties (Music box) in my garden and they have bloomed. Also we have a field full near where we live. Have you been feeding it too much fertiliser?
