| | | Plant ident required please Hi could I please have an ident on the following plant, as my friend has developed a nasty rash, and as it was after pulling a large clump of this up from an overgrown area of her new garden this looks the likely culprit. maybe a Polygonum? if so are these likely to promote an allergic reaction / rash?

Sorry not sure if it would have caused the reaction. |

| | | Re: Plant ident required please Thank you Tiggrx
searched red bistort and discovered ( on crocus.co.uk) that it does indeed cause skin irritation. I can put her mind at rest at least that she hasn't contacted something deadly, she was fretting a bit as 5months pregnant. (And probably shouldn't be doing as much in the garden as she is too)
Thanks again Tel | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
