tall flower spike plant
Photographed this yesterday at Whixall Moss, Shropshire. Anyone ID these yellow flowers that were on a tall flower spike. Thanks

Hi Black - if it had big, sort of 'woolly' feeling grey-green leaves its most likely Greater Mullein, verbascum thapsus.

looks a little like Verbascum thapsus , Great Mullein...

Rabbits Ears i like these old folk name for plants been trying a couple myself 1 i'm happy with is Witches Hat for Hoary Ribwort. The other is red dead nettle as it's too long but all i could come up with was rubertufts. Oh well
