Hi malcolm j, welcome to the forum.

To upload an image for identification, it's best to have two windows or tabs open, one for your message and one for the following procedure: Click on the Gallery link at the top of the page. When the new page opens, scroll down to the Unidentified and Forum Images galleries (both these galleries are unmoderated and images posted there will appear immediately). Open the Unidentified Gallery, scroll down to the bottom. Browse your PC for the relevant image and upload. When your image is uploaded, copy the contents of the Forum Image Code field and paste into your message, then post as normal.
