| | | Battered Buttercup? Can someone confirm that this is a rain-battered meadow buttercup or am I mistaking it for another flower? Thanks in advance

| | | Re: Battered Buttercup? It's certainly a buttercup, but with just the flower can't say for certain which species, but quite possibly Meadow- have you got a picture of the leaves? It's certainly a pale coloured variant- sometimes see these variants for sale at horticultural shows. |

I haven't got a photo of the leaves (I really must get in the habit of doing this!) but the leaves did look like those of a meadow buttercup.
