Hi, does anyone know the identity of this plant I saw at the weekend at Marshside RSPB Reserve. Thanks

My guess is black horehound Ballota nigra as I have seen this in flower in a few places now.

I agree with Jill- it's a pretty common plant of hedgebanks, waste land, etc + popular with some bumblebee species + have often seen Green-veined Whites nectaring on it.
