Hi,
Am having difficulty naming the final two plants on the fllowing pge: Swansea Vale Nature Reserve: Spit and More Late Spring Findings
Also, am wondering if the last plant is diseased. This silvery white powder is over quite a few plants in that region of the Reserve.

cheers - looks like you are spot on - its gonna take years to identify plants like these - there are just so many of them |

Just to add a little bit more information, the Powdery Mildew on the Meadowsweet is Sphaerotheca spiraeae.
There are two powdery mildews that parasitise Meadowsweet in the UK. Both are common but this is the more conspicuous of the two, causing leaf distortions and interfering with the development of the flowers. As Meadowsweet is a vigorous perennial, too vigorous at times, it doesn't seem to cause much harm in the longer term.
