I dont know about Kent, but the Oxfordshire ones are in bloom and have been for a few weeks. I saw the first one at the start of May. Other orchids now in flower:

Greater Butterfly
Common
Twayblade
White Helleborine

Hi Ian and all,

Thanks, I answered my own question by going down to Kent today, O.simia in full bloom! Also G.Butterfly, Fly, and Lady Orchids, White Helleborine, and masses of Twayblade, Common Spotted just starting. A few Early Purple spikes hanging on. Better go looking for Autumn Ladies Tresses next week!.

I counted 7 flowering spikes of Bee Orchid and var. Belgarum also 1 spike of Pyramidal Orchid starting to open up today at a site near Portsmouth.
