Purple flower

I photographed this flower in the small Woodland Trust reserve at Billinge Plantation, Merseyside at the weekend. Any help appreciated with ID

[Hornbeam]

At first sight it looks like another cranesbill, but not with those leaves. Those twin leaves are very unusual. I think that it is Pink Purslane ( Montia sibirica also called Claytonia sibirica) . Introduced from North America and NE Asia, it is found naturalised in damp woods.

Thanks Hornbeam, yeah the leaves did throw me a bit! Fits in perfectly as well with Billinge Plantation being a very damp woodland.

Yep, Pink Purslane it is. It's all over theplace in the Devon woodlands, particularly along the Dart Valley.
