| | | Did the earth move for you? A couple of hours ago we had a bit of rumble here that felt like it could have been a small earthquake? I've just been trying to find any records of it on the net, but couldn't see anything - probably too early.
Anyone else feel a little rumble around midday - pre-lunch hunger not included
I can't remember the last time we had an eartquake, either we don't get them much or I just don't feel them. |

It's been a while since we had a tremor, as I remember the last one a few years ago was strong enough to dislodge chimney pots etc.... |

The earth moved for me because I was underground in a tunnel at the time. |

| | | Re: Did the earth move for you? Could be the same one I felt. My Mum was staying with us in Oakham, and one night I was woken by a feeling that the bed had been tilted, and I could hear the sound of rumbling. The next a.m. I told Mum about the experience and I wondered if it could have been an earthquake (though I was sceptical). However, later in the day it was confirmed as being one. Very minor, but nevertheless a bit scary. |
