Sounds good \Martin. I am usually busy weekends (no volunteers) and generally work 9-5 Mon-Fri. Although Mon-fri (with notice) my coleague can take over my animals as well as his.....
Woud love a day out just chilling.......

No problem, Jan. I'm back up there this Saturday with the spotting scope and see how that go's. Also might be a good idea to take the gps and see the memory-map on where about I've been. It is a big place, bigger than I thought. |

There's a Pallid Harrier at Billingham at the moment. It is around a pond just opposite Saltholme. Well worth going to see if your going Saturday, if it stays. |

Saltholm is a brilliant place! At the moment they are having Soup and Starling events which are well worth the cold nights! Some great birds there, you've also got Teesmouth NNR directly next door, also good for costal birds - as well daily views of Grey and Harbour seals - |
