| | | Ilam - Derbyshire Does anyone know any nice birds or plants or other animals that are usually around Ilam, I love going there and that's the walk I go on most, so next time I'll be on the lookout for them animals/plants/birds?

Ben. | I have been told this is one of the premier points to capture dippers on the river near to the stepping stones. Jon

| | | Re: Ilam - Derbyshire That makes me remember, I think it was last year, I saw quite a few near there, I got my camera out of my bag, didn't really see the point as all day I had just got terrible shots, but I got it out, went to take a picture. Guess what? Battery had gone! |

| | | Re: Ilam - Derbyshire Dovedale always produces Dipper and Grey Wagtail for me. On my last visit a few weeks ago I also saw Marsh Tit, Goosander and Common Buzzard.
Get there early before the hordes of walkers arrive!
