If you want to see the seals close up then get a boat trip from Blakeney Harbour. You can get decent views of them on land from Marston Quay though.
Cheers,
Adam | Will have a search when I get home, thanks for that Adam.
I know what you mean about the old biddies we'll give ourselves an extra hour for each journey

As suggested by Steve, it is best to book just be safe.
I expect you can see seals from the quay at Morston (not Marston) but it depends upon the tides, but with the boat trips I'm told you are surrounded by the seals and can also see them resting on the sand banks as the boat goes by.
Last time I went to Blakeney I brought back some leaflets with me with the intention of booking but have misplaced them now. Just Google Seals, Blakeney, Norfolk and several operators should come up.
I guess you will be going to Norwich as well. If you go to the cathedral, I suggest you also walk down to the river where a channel was dug to bring the stone up closer to the cathedral site when it was built.
Also, opposite the main cathedral entrance is a lovely area called Tombland consisting of some quaint narrow cobbled streets with lots of original buildings.
I must say I don't see too many motorists speeding at 20 mph when I visit Norfolk, but we do get a lot of them at Aldeburgh, here in Suffolk, but that is because a lot of OAP's retire there. (shhhh..... I think Hobjob might be one of them)

| | | Re: What to do in Norfolk? Hi Nige, we were based at Potter Heigham a few weeks ago, mid Broads. I was worried it would be too commercial but found it fine. We hired Canadian Cannoes from Martham & had a day on Hickling & up to Horsey. I was a lady of leisure but husband & daughter were a bit tired at the end of the day
Hickling Nature rreserve is great & we had a ride up to Cley Marshes which was also brilliant (Spoonbills, Spotted Redshank & Yellow Horned Poppy)
Another highlight was Strumpshaw Fen (RSPB), we saw Chinese Water Deer there & a Swallowtail Butterfly Caterpillar . Ranworth was lovely (not big)
You`ll love all the Marsh Harriers as well Have a great trip
