A Lost Mobile Phone ....

It always fascinates me to see people in out of the way places, going into contortions to get a phone signal. I was contracting to install a custard plant
at, Lifton Down, in Devon. Every now and again people would disappear to make a phone call and they would appear at the top of outside staircases, on the effluent plant, anywhere to get a signal but the best was a chap sat astride a huge propane tank right next to the expansion vent and an equally huge sign saying No Naked Lights, No Mobile Phones, Danger of Explosion.

That ringing someone else whilst in a supermarket to make sure one buys the right kind of Baked Beans is a little silly?

That some people constantly talk-talk-talk at a high volume on the train & other public places & that's why the installation of those 'Quiet Carriages' on Virgin Trains - was one of Richard Bransons' very best ideas ?
