I went to hartland north devon last year what a great place that is for wildlife.hartland quay is amazing.  |

Hartland is another of my favourite places lots of everything
See the Abbey,donkeys and peacocks, and on a really stormy
day Hartland Quay Hotel.There used to be a waiter in the hotel that
reminded the lioness and me of Boris Karloff,we were there once
during a storm and the wave troughs were so deep you could
almost see the ship wrecks on the seabed!
There was a high profile wreck around from the lighthouse
right on the beach "Green Ranger" if I remember correctly

I agree Hartland Quay is a beautiful place. It also fills me with a sense
of fear, because it is the start point of the hardest stretch of the
south west coast path. Between Hartland and Bude the cliffs are about
100 metres high, which you have to ascend and descend 10 times over
a 15 mile stretch. Hard work but well worth it.

If ever you go back make sure you go for fish and chips in the shamrock in hartland,that was more dangerous than any cliff.  |

I agree about the Coastpath from Marsland Mouth to Bude it certainly finds out the calfs and lungs.
Had a memorable nights camping at Hartland, wonderful cliff top views in the afternoon, at 2 in the morning, trying to sleep in the car because the tent had been demolished.
Then I ran over the barbecue!
