I wonder if anyone else remembers this. There were one or two other programmes by the same film-makers, all with very atmospheric photography of the Highlands. |

I, like you posch, have seen nothing of the film since. But I did get to visit the gardens, and what an impression they left!

| | | Re: Inverewe Gardens We spend 4-5 days around the Poolewe area every Spring and Autumn, and generally get good weather ( this Autumn being the exception due to the tail end of a hurricane and torrential rain ). The amount of wildlife birds and waders is stunning if photography is one of your interests, which it is ours. With patience we have seen juvenile Gannet, Razor bill, Guillemot, Wheatear, Ringed Plover, Golden Plover, Red-breasted Merganser, Shelduck, Common Sandpiper, Buzzard, Oyster Catcher, Great Northern Diver, Mallard, Various Gulls, Curlew, Pipit, Sky Lark, and Cormorant. The landscape is rugged, and some places very remote, which suits us admirably in the motorhome. White tailed Eagles have been seen near Shaidaig, Deer roam naturally, and, for us, the whole Wester Ross area is delightfully raw in character, and a sight worth seeing, especially when the mountains are capped with snow.
We`ll be back there again next April I`m sure.
